GRANBURY — Carlene Wilson, 69, passed away Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, in Granbury.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Burial: Long Creek Cemetery in Hood County. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilson was born June 8, 1942, in San Antonio, to William Levi Raymond Carr, Sr. and Sarah Itis Nichols Carr. She married Jerry Wayne Wilson, June 20, 1981, in Fort Worth. She was a graduate of Granbury High School. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, #530, Past Matron and Associate Matron, member of Daughters of the Nile, #93, in Fort Worth, and a member of the Elks Lodge, #2834, in Stephenville. She had lived in Granbury since 1989 and was a member of the Pearl Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors: Husband, Jerry W. Wilson of Granbury; daughter, Diane Alley of Granbury; mother, Sarah I. Carr of Granbury; children, Donna Jones and husband, Cliff, of Richland Hills, Jennifer Stacey and husband, Johnny, of Granbury, Jeffrey Wilson of New Boston, Texas; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Wanda Hines and husband, George, of Granbury; a niece and a nephew; and one great nephew.
