Rosalie “Rosie” Carmella Oliveri-Snyder, age 70, of Granbury, Texas returned to her heavenly home on Monday, July 9, 2018.

Rosalie was born March 30, 1948 in Buffalo, New York to Angelo Oliveri and Mary Coppola Oliveri and resided in upstate New York until 1983. Her remaining years were spent living a fine life in Texas.

She is survived by son – Frederick Ream, daughter – Angela Ream Klotzbir (Sean), daughter – Tammy Anderson (Robert) and stepchildren – Lynda Borden, Peter Snyder, Danny Snyder, Jayne Groff, Jeffrey Snyder and Patty Snyder. Rosalie had a second son, John Ream, who predeceased her in 2012. She is survived by grandchildren – Jacquelyn, Tiffany, Blake, Jimmy, Samantha, and great grandchildren – Gracie, Brianna, Zachary, Noah, Avery and Elijah. Rosalie cherished her brother, Angelo, and sister, Martha; both of whom predeceased her in the last 10 years.

Rosalie loved all things involving animals, especially her beloved dog, Little Bit, and cat, Barney. She enjoyed the daily feeding of the wildlife around her lakefront home, even to the point of being admonished by her neighborhood association about the great number of new birds roaming the streets. Through her many years working in the restaurant industry, there were few, if any, people that didn’t come to know all about their favorite waitress, Rosie. Rosalie loved her family and friends with all her heart and soul. She fought a courageous two-year battle with colon cancer. Her strength was an inspiration to all who knew her. She never met a stranger and loved people in general. Many people were blessed to call her a friend.

Memorial services will be held in Buffalo, New York at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Rosie would ask that you consider a donation to her furry friends at www.secondchancefarmgranbury.org
