Michael “Mike” Ray Guinn, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, December 27, 2020. He was born on July 17, 1963, to William Ayres and Elizabeth McGrew Guinn in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mike is survived by the love of his life, Lori Guinn, mother Elizabeth “Buzz” Guinn, son Jason Guinn and wife Jessica of Pantego, daughter Sarah Siegel of Nuremberg, Germany, sister Marilyn Haskins of Granbury, sister Marsha Mena of Tampa, Florida, sister Margie Stacy and her husband Brandy of Burleson. He was Grandpa to his adoring grandson, Tristan Guinn, and his niece and nephews, Sydney and Jake Stacy and Dion Guinn. Mike is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Guinn, brother-in-law Miguel Mena and his nephew Brian Mena.
From a young adult, Mike loved everything aviation. He started his 35 year career with time in the Army working with helicopters. Few people in life are so passionate about their jobs that they live and breathe it. Mike was the exception to that rule. He loved everything about his job. Mike was a Senior Sales Manager for Aviation Specialties Unlimited (ASU) and he sold aviation night vision products for government/defense, law enforcement and EMS operators all over the world. Mike was definitely a people person who never met a stranger. Even languages were not a barrier, as Mike used google translator so he could communicate with anyone, anywhere. Traveling the world for his job was a bonus for him as he loved to explore and photograph the places he traveled. On his return from his travels, he would share his photographs and stories with friends and family. Mike was a consummate story teller and his sense of humor always had everyone laughing. He was a great guy and his spirit was infectious to be around.
Mike had a big personality and embraced life thoroughly. He treated each new day as a gift. He was the type to give you the shirt off his back. He leaves a void for everyone whose life he touched that cannot be replaced. Mike will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

What an amazing man. Mike was life, he was always smiling and never passed you without saying hi or giving you a hug. What a loss to the Aviation Industry. He will be missed by so many. Aviation has lost a good man. RIP Mike we will all meet again one day and start up the conversation where we all left off the last time we all met. Our hearts are broken. 💔💔🙏

Mr. Mike, I am in shock to hear you your passing. Though we didn't speak often, when we did, it was as if we spoke all the time and was mearly catching up. Praying for your family as the Lord sees them through this tough time. With deep fondness, your next door neighbor, Delaina & Anthony Milligan.

I knew Mike only through our interactions from work. I enjoyed our calls and our visits on the rare times that we saw each other. Not knowing Mike well was not a barrier to knowing that he was a good man. I smile as I remember him today, not because I knew Mike so well but because he was just one of those spirits that are good and show it without even trying. I will miss my interaction with Mike. My thoughts are with Mike's family, I am sure he will be missed. I pray that you take solace in the fact that you obviously were loved so much, and Mike's good spirit came from your love of him.
