Marvin Rhea Jr. of DCBE passed away March 12, 2019. He was born to Marvin Rhea Sr. and Frances Northcutt in Northcutt’s cove, Grundy County Tennessee on March 30, 1937. He married his childhood sweetheart Elizabeth Ann Anderson on July, 29, 1955 before enlisting in the Air Force and was stationed in Topeka, KS and Newfoundland Canada. In 2001, Marvin retired from Freightliner. He loved his church and served as an elder at Pipeline Rd. Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Minnie Evelyn Smartt and son Phillip Rhea.

Marvin is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth Rhea and children, Doug Rhea and wife Dena, Tami Hackney and husband Mark and Phil’s wife Shan. He has nine grandchildren, Cara, Chris, Doug Jr., Jon, Joe, Lauren, Lexi, Austin, Anson and fifteen great grandchildren, His brother David Rhea and wife Charlene, brother-in-law David Smartt and wife Wanda.

A memorial service is planned at 2:00pm Sunday March 17th at Granbury Church of Christ with visitation following. Burial later at the Veteran cemetery.
