Kari was such a willing vessel for God’s desires. A loving and caring individual who became your friend as soon as you met her. She was a flower that bloomed in our hearts. The seeds that she has planted will forever grow. God’s Light and Love shown bright in her. We were all blessed to have her in our lives. Our Prayer Warrior is now our angel in heaven.
Kari was born in Ft. Worth TX. She lived in Nashville as a child then grew up in Loveland Co. She attended Central College and Kansas State University where she received degrees in Floriculture and turf management. She operated her own landscaping business which then switched to Wedding and Event planning. She was preceded in death by her parents Dan & Dottie Krause.
Kari is survived by: Tom Quinlan, husband, Anna Quinlan, daughter, Josiah Quinlan, son, and Dan Krause, brother.
We will all miss her.

I met Kari back in the early 90’s when she came to work at Tumbleweed Nursery & Garden Center in Cleburne. I had the privilege of working and having fun with her every day for years. We also served and worshipped together at Friendship Baptist Church as sisters of The King. She was one of the dearest friends of my life. This woman was one of the most beautiful Christ-like people I have ever known. She was godly, selfless, and sweet spirited and had the heart and mind of Christ. I applaude the way she served others in Jesus' name. Her infectious smile lit every room she put her foot in. We’ve shared love, laughter and tears through the years and I will treasure every moment for the rest of my life. I love you my sweet friend. Til we meet again. “Precious in the sight of The Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15 Our prayers will continue for Tom, Anna, and Josiah.😞💕

She was a prayer warrior for so many in this community. She was there for me during a very difficult time and I so appreciated it. I look forward to seeing her again with the Lord Jesus in heaven soon!

I didn’t know Kari all that well. Her dogs ran away several times and once they spent about a week at my house before we were able to connect. She was so happy that we had taken good care of them. Several months later, my best dog died and I was a wreck and for whatever reason, I reached out to Kari to see how her babies were. I told her I’d lost my pup and she was so caring and kind and I was so very thankful for her in that moment. We never spoke again, but I’ll never forget her. My heart goes out to her family and her pups.

I always enjoyed our conversations over the years especially watching our girls grow up, I wish I could understand why God chose to take you so soon but we must remember this home is temporary and I will give you a big hug when I see you in heaven! Anna, I know the only thing your mom would ask is that our group of moms that watched you grow up will take over daily prayers for you which I dedicate doing that for you in remembrance of her. I want you to know there are people praying for you.

I am honored to serve with Mrs. Quinlan’s beautiful and kind hearted daughter at Tyndall and I am so glad I got to know her through Anna. She is the most giving and nurturing mother anyone could ask for, she always made sure our clinic felt loved and appreciated every year on Veteran’s day by sending us all of the food out stomachs could handle. Mrs. Quinlan, thank you for being a blessing in our lives. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Quinlan Family.
