GRANBURY — H.R. “Doc” Fry, 77 of Granbury born July 21, 1939 passed away July 21, 2016.

Visitation: 2:00-4:00 PM, Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.
Graveside service: 11:00 AM, Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Celebration of Life: 4:00 PM, Monday at the VFW in Granbury.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made in Doc’s name to the Disabled American Veterans.

He was a US Navy Corpsman, retiring in 1977 after 20 years service. Doc became the Director of Bio Medical Instrumentation at Spohn Hospital, Corpus Christi and had various jobs after that to stay busy. He loved to BBQ, plan home improvement projects, photography and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. His sense of humor was well know as he loved to tell jokes.

He was a member of the Fleet Reserve, Marine Corp League, and life time member of the American Legion and VFW.

He was reunited with his mother, father and daughter, Dina.

Survived: wife, Marylyn; sister, Barbara; daughters, Debbie, Robin, Diane, Leanne, B.J.; stepchildren, Mark and Melynda, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He will be missed.
