Doris was born August 24, 1935 in Bonham, Texas to Alvis Alvin and Thelma Lee Wisdom Woodall. She married Clyde W. (CW) Carnes October 28, 1953 in Vernon, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on July 5, 2009; a son, Clyde William Carnes, Jr.; and brother, Buddy Woodall.
Doris is survived by her friend and companion, Wayne Bear; son, Barney and wife Deborah; daughters, Bonnie and husband Jim and Lory and husband Lance; son, Clyde and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Lee and Kristen Carnes, Andy and Amanda Carnes, Chris Mikulenka, Dale and Crystal Willis, Ronnie Willis, Travis and Tiffany Willis, Samantha and Luke Gosling, Stephanie and Chris Eads, Brandy Hart, Nikki West and Ulieses Barrios, Stephanie West and Adama Abramson and Austin West; great grandchildren, Gage, Brody, Landon, Jeg, Noah, Camryn, Preslee, Makenna, Cadey, Stevie, Ablie, Sophia, Tucker, Crista, Callie, Megumi, Asher and Archer; sisters, Dorothy Pruitt and Hattie Black; and brother, Alvis Woodall, Jr.
