Billy “Wild Bill“ Nelson 73, passed away April 20, 2021 in Rhome, Texas. A Graveside service is to be held on Saturday April 24, 2021 at 10 am at Ward Branch Cemetery in Glen Rose, Texas.

Billy was born February 16, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas to William and Evelyn Nelson. He married Linda July 27, 1967 in Fort Worth, Texas at the Calvary Pentecostal Church. He graduated at Burleson High School in 1967. He studied BS and MS at East Texas State Junior College and studied certified gunsmith at Trinidad State Junior College. He was in management at Global Machine and Tool LLC. He was an adjunct professor at Dallas College, the Mountain View Campus. Billy was also the former President at Quickway Stampings Incorporation. Billy accomplishments were Entoco, Global Machine and Tool.

Billy is preceded in death by his mother: Leta Evelyn Johnston Nelson; Father: William Stewart Nelson; grandfather: Finis Thunson Nelson; grandmother: Oma Mae Nelson; grandson: Andre Leon Nelson.

Billy is survived by his wife: Linda Kay Rothman Nelson; children: Walter Dewayne Nelson and wife Fancy, Wendell Dion Nelson and wife Missy, Andrula La Rae Nelson and husband Mark, and Jody Delon nelson and wife Danelle; sister: Laquita Owens and Gwen Owens; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
